We’re speaking at BDA’s new online workshop for practice owners
The BDA’s longstanding Preparing for Retirement seminar is being delivered online in two, easy-to-access evening sessions
The BDA’s longstanding Preparing for Retirement seminar is being delivered online in two, easy-to-access evening sessions, with the same great content and speakers.
The aim of the online and interactive event is to guide dental practice owners through the process of selling a dental practice.
The first online event will take place on Monday 11 November to discuss pension options. The second session on Monday 2 December will feature presentations from Len D’CruzHead of Indemnity at BDA, Alison Bates Business Development Team Manager, Henry Schein Dental Practice Sales and Victoria Michell Head of NHS and Business Team at BDA.
Alison Bates, Business Development Team Manager at Henry Schein Dental Practice Sales said:
“Joining a session like this, will really help dental practice owners to prepare in the best way possible as it’s really important to start planning an exit from the business a few years before selling.
By understanding their valuation well in advance of their sale, practice owners have the opportunity to grow the value and align their expectations with market rates for dental practice sales. Depending on the type of practice, they may also be required to tie -in clinically post-sale for a number of years so it becomes even more important to start the process early.”
The British Dental Association is the voice of dentists and dental students across the UK. As a trade union and professional body they offer a variety of resources to ensure dental professionals’ skills and knowledge are up to date.
