We’re hosting a live Q&A to answer your questions about the Budget
The free to attend live Q&A session in partnership with financial experts from UNW will take place on Monday 4 November 2024, 7pm – 8pm.
The government is looking to bring in revenue-raising measures and is set to announce potential tax changes as part of the Autumn Budget on Wednesday 30 October 2024. We’re bringing you the opportunity to put your questions to tax experts from leading accountancy firm UNW LLP following the Budget announcements.
UNW is a leading national advisory team acting for over 500 dentists across the UK. The free online event is perfect for dental practice owners and will provide an overview of the Autumn Budget in relation to dental practice owners or anyone looking to purchase or sell a dental practice followed by answers to the most frequently asked questions received, and any questions you have on the night.
Mike Blenkharn, Partner and Head of Dental at UNW LLP said:
“This one is going to be significant. With rumours circulating of what may be announced in the Budget, it is certain all dentists are going to be affected.”
Maja Thompson, Director of Henry Schein Practice Services added:
“If capital gains tax is increased, depending on the implementation timescales, we’ll be helping our network of sellers manage their sale quickly and efficiently. It’s also not currently known whether the government will announce adjustments to BADR (formerly Entrepreneurs Relief) thresholds, which may compound the tax burden of an asset sale.”
